Technical Data

Colour: Metal gray.

Adhesion: Excellent adhesion to clean, dry surfaces of most metals. Hardens upon exposure to air. Hi-Temp Lab-metal will not bond two parts together; requires air to dry. Heat cure according to the directions on the can (download product label below).

Weight: 1.76 gm/cc

Heat resistance: When heat cured as directed, withstands temperatures as high as 538ºC.

Chemical resistance: Not affected by mild acids, gasoline, petroleum, petroleum solvents, oil or L.P. gas.

Combustibility: Dry and hard material will not support combustion.

Conductivity: A non-conductor at normal voltage. Not considered an insulator.

Thermal conductivity: Estimated 25-50 BTUs / sq. m. / hour / ºC

Drying time: Dependent upon thickness of application. Allow to harden for at least 24 hrs., then heat harden at 218ºC for 1 hr.

Shelf life: One year in factory-sealed can. (Add Lab-solvent to extend storage-time). Store in cool place.
